Description

We know the road that God has put us on is never easy. The journey is hard but the Lord of the journey is faithful. He has promised that the tumultuous seas of life will one day be as still as crystal.  He has already won the victory and we know the end of the story. The last book of the bible, Revelation, is what this roast is named for.  One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.  

In Revelation 7:14 one of the elders explains to John the vision he saw of a multitude of people from every nation, tongue and tribe, clothed in white and singing with one voice praises to God and the Lamb on the throne.  The elder said “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” 

Later in Revelation John sees a vision of the enemies of God and how scary this world seems as darkeness seems at times to be getting thicker.  But the messenger tells him and us in chapter 17 verse 14, “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”  It is a simple matter of fact, the enemies of God will make war against the lamb but He will win the day because of who He is.  The amazing thing about that to us is that those who are with Jesus are mentioned.  You are either with Him or against Him. There is no neutral ground in this life.  We are with Him, He is our only hope.  

Because He is faithful, we can be faithful to what he has called us.  We don’t have what it takes but He always does.  All eyes on Jesus!

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” - Revelation 23:17
